We're Anchor & Hops, an independent craft beer bar in Stockton Heath, Warrington. The bar is run by Chris and Stu. Between us we spend an unhealthy amount of time drinking, talking shit and thinking about beer, and figuring out what actually deserves a place on the taps or in the fridges of dreams.

We've got eight rotating draught lines and hundreds of cans and bottles, all kept properly so the beer tastes how it should. You'll find everything from crisp lagers and hazy pales through to juicy IPAs, big stouts, sharp sours, smoothies, and a good mix of Belgian and German classics.

There's a bit more space upstairs if you want somewhere quieter, plus board games and cards available if you fancy settling in for a while. Out the back there's a small yarden that comes into its own when the sun shows up. Dogs are always welcome too.

Whether you know your beer or not, we'll help you find something good to drink. In the end, it's simple. Good beer and good people.
